Most of us go through life on auto-pilot. Developing Awareness enables us to understand ourselves and our relationship with the world on a much deeper level. Together we will uncover the patterns, beliefs and emotions that shape your life — fostering self-reflection and mindfulness so you can navigate challenges with clarity and insight.

Once we have Awareness we can approach life's unfolding with Wonder. The AWE Method will help crystallize your Why, Open you to possibilities and try Novel approaches to Discovery through Experimentation and Reflection. Awareness and Alignment Coaching will uncover patterned and habituated beliefs and actions. Through a co-creative process, we will explore different methods and practices that foster a healthy mindset and a shift in perspective allowing you to live a more fulfilling life and become the best you.

Embodiment

By taking all you learn through Wonder, you take the first steps toward Embodiment. Through our coaching sessions, we will develop tools that you can use to help you embody the perspective and insights you gain. Tools that you will use long after the coaching sessions are done.

Hi, I'm Tan —
your partner in growth

My role is to co-create a safe, non-judgmental space for you to become more aware and aligned. I am excited for us to work together to ensure your goals align with your values, uncover the patterns standing in your way, and explore ways to help your goals come into alignment with you.

My coaching has been greatly influenced by positive psychology and the teachings of Michael Singer — whose teachings so moved me (figuratively and literally — I left New York City and moved to Alachua, Florida so I could commit to a regular practice of surrender, relax and release), while maintaining my legal practice remotely. Having gone on my own profound personal growth journey, I know transformation is possible. I would be honored to be a part of yours.

I believe deeply that you are the expert in YOU — capable, whole, and deserving of a full and authentic life.

Coaching Process

A&A Coaching is a thought-provoking, creative partnership to bring greater awareness of habituated programs and patterns that inhibit you from living the most joyful and liberated life possible. The starting place is a goal — but the goal is not simply to achieve it. It's to bring awareness to the motives and meanings around it. In so doing, you will likely discover what is holding you back, and we will co-creatively explore ways to overcome those blockers — or you might find goals that better align with your true self. Throughout the journey you will be supported with honesty, care, non-judgment and deep respect for the expert you are in you.

Free Consultation

We meet to explore what's brought you here and whether A&A Coaching is a good fit — or whether another modality might be more aligned at this point in your journey.

Alignment

If the AWE method is in alignment with your needs, we begin with a one-hour session to clarify your target goal(s) and possible challenges.

Personalized Journey Map

After the session you will receive a Personalized Journey Map that you will work with in between sessions.

Perspective & Practice

During our sessions, you will likely gain new perspective or insights. With this Awareness, we will use Wonder to co-create practices that help you break old patterns and create new, healthier habits.

Continuing Your Journey

My goal is to give you the tools to continue your journey — with or without coaching. Within ten sessions, most clients have what they need to fly…but the journey is yours. We can continue toward a new goal, check in occasionally, or you can simply go. You are the master of your travels.
